Feb 21st - Dinner hosted by Kay Bair and Heidi Ferris. All invited, maximum 40.
March 17th - St. Patty’s Day Party, hosted by Kathy and John Baran, 6.30pm. All invited, maximum 26.
April 17th - Middle Eastern Dinner hosted by Marjorie and Steve Sayer, 6.00 pm. All invited, maximum 20.
May 5th - Cinquo de Mayo hosted by Sandy and Mike Levitan, 6.00 pm. All invited, maximum 24.
June 6th - Greek Dinner, hosted by Jeannine and Greg Birbil, 6.30pm. All invited, maximum 20.

On Friday, November 1, 2019 forty members and guests attended the Joy of Eating Happy Hour Happenings at the home of Maria Meredith. The group provided fifteen different appetizers and four desserts to share, which was the perfect setting for sparking conversation while enjoying new and classic dishes and sipping wine. A ‘Guess Your Best’ How Many Corks in the Jar and a Happy Hour themed Trivia Game encouraged individual and team talents to produce their best score. Winners were Carrie Hayden with a perfect score for the Guess Your Best corks game, with Vicki DiPaolo as runner up, as well as Kay Bair winning the trivia game, with runner up Jeannine Birbil representing her team. The group definitely made the evening “Happy” and “High ‘Spirits'-ed”. Many thanks to all for their wonderful fellowship and for Maria snagging a great co-host Joanne Butz!

On April 17, 2019 twenty nine UPWC members and guests enjoyed good company and great tasting ‘finger lickin’ BBQ favorites. Everyone was generous in delivering family sized main dishes and sides, and happily went home with empty bowls and contented smiles having satisfied their BBQ cravings. No doubt that smokin’ good food and chillin’ guests make a great recipe for fun.

March 29th, 2019 - Alba, also known as the Queen of the One-Pot meal, demo'ed an easy Caribbean Chicken and Rice Stew with baked maduros (sweet plantains) followed by a yummy tembleque (coconut custard dessert). The ladies had a good time discussing their signature dishes and their unique culinary adventures.
